This is...stunning and complex in the way it comes across, yet very simple in over all execution.
The kiss and the tender, gentle touch of his hands really speak of pure, innocent love by themselves, but the position of his hands seem to say possessive passion, how he's above and behind her voices a need to protect her, and the red spatter and of course the title speak of doing anything to keep her, including wounding or possibly even killing anyone who threatens to take her away. A man who is loving, possessive, and protective of his love, and fierce in all three.
